Coolant leak leads to flat bed trip to Portland
I had a small coolant leak, that through discussion on NAM was pin pointed tothe thermostat housing.
Contacted PTL Mini and they had me call Roadside Assistance, I arranged for a Monday am pickup and PK Towing arrived on time and off "ASTRO" went. The tow truck driver likes going to PTL Mini versus the dealer in Tacoma. He said they treat the drivers much better in PTL, plus they have coffee, water and Cookies!
Anyway, the folks on NAM were right, I had the housing and the thermostat replaced and "ASTRO" was back home by noon on Wednesday. ASTRO left clean and arrived covered with road grim due to bad weather in the Gorge, but the inside's were clean!
Total out of pocket for repairs $0, I love my warranty and I love my Mini!
