I have a '02 Mini Cooper with 115,000 miles. I've owned it for only 18 months.

Last fall, as I approached my first witer, I ordered Blizzak Traction Tires from Tire Rack. I love them. I will tell you more later, just had time for a quick note now. Check out the attached photo for the ULTIMATE CHALLENGE ..... Leavenworth Trip Dec.'07

Wow, what a photo. Were you actually able to drive in that?!
Great tires, if so.
Do you have a spare donut?
Torka - Yes, I did drive in that snow.... for several hours! From Leavenworth, I had to drive Highway 97, due south, all the way to the Columbia River Gorge... over two mountain passes before hitting rain when I got to the gorge. I was plowing snow at times. My biggest problem was keeping my windshield from freezing over. I kept reaching out the window and snapping the blade while it was moving to break away the ice chunks.

Yes the tires are amazing. I will try to have them on the car for Thursday's meeting. The tread blocks stay "soft" even in freezing temps providing extra traction. I highly recommend them.
BTW - I don't have a spare - donut or otherwise....
